# Chat

> One ongoing conversation where you write notes, ask questions and let Qwox keep your records.

**Chat** is where you talk to Qwox. There is one ongoing conversation, with no "new chat" button. Scroll up
to see older messages.

## Write it your way

Type in the box that says **Write a note or ask something**. You don't need any special
format:

* "Paid the electricity bill, 640 lira, next one around the 15th."
* "What did the plumber say about the leak?"
* "Move the dentist to Thursday."

Qwox searches your records, reads the whole record before changing it, then adds or updates it and tells you what changed.
A small chip in the chat opens the record that was saved or updated.

If Qwox can't find something, it says so. It answers from your records, not from guesses.

## Photos

Add up to 4 photos to a message, for example a receipt, a business card or a page of handwritten notes. Qwox reads the
photo and files the information into your records. The photo itself is not stored.

On a phone, tap **+** and choose **Take photo** or **Choose from library**.
A photo you take this way is not saved to your phone's gallery. On the web, **+** opens a file picker.

## Long texts

When you send a text longer than 4,000 characters, Qwox saves all of it as a document without asking and reads it in parts when needed. You see a note under the message box before you send it.

## Copy a message

On a phone, press and hold any message:

* **Copy** copies the text as you see it.
* **Select text** opens the message so you can select part of it.

On the web, select the text with your mouse.

## Language

Qwox replies in the language of your last message. Write in English and the reply is in English; write in Turkish and it
answers in Turkish. See [Language](https://docs.qwox.ai/language.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Qwox asks before it deletes a record or updates many records at once. See [Approvals](https://docs.qwox.ai/approvals.md).
