# Today and the morning list

> What is due, what needs a check and what is waiting for your approval, in one place.

Qwox has three tabs: **Today**, **Chat** and **Records**. The app
opens on Chat; Today is where you see what needs you.

## The Today tab

* **Morning list**: today's list, with buttons to handle each item.
* **Due**: records whose next step is due.
* Approvals waiting: cards Qwox is waiting for you to answer. Tap to go to the chat.
* **Going stale**: records that haven't been checked for a while.

When nothing is waiting, Today says so.

## The morning list

Once a day, at the time you choose, Qwox prepares a short list:

* at most 7 items, with "and N more" if there are more;
* late items first, then today's, then records that need a check;
* nothing on an empty day: no list and no notification.

Each item shows why it is on the list and its next step. Handle it with one tap:

| Button | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Up to date** | Confirms the record is still right. |
| **Done** | Marks the record as done. |
| **Snooze** | A due item comes back tomorrow morning; a record that needs a check comes back in 7 days. The record itself doesn't change. |

## Choose when it arrives

Go to **Account** (the round profile button at the top) → **Preferences** →
**Morning list**:

* **Off**, **3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Sat)** or **Every day**
* the time, with **Earlier** and **Later**

Then tap **Save**. The time follows your device's time zone.

## The notification

In the Android app the list arrives as a notification: **Your morning list is ready**. It shows
only how many items there are, never the titles of your records. On the web there is no notification; the list is ready
when you open Qwox.
