# Your data

> Download your records or delete your account.

## Download your data

Go to **Account** → **Data and privacy** →
**Download my data**. You get one JSON file with your records and the links between them.

* On the web, the file downloads.
* On a phone, the share menu opens so you can save or send it.
* Downloading works on every plan, also after your trial ends.

If the file is too large to share from your phone, download it from [app.qwox.ai](https://app.qwox.ai) on a computer.

## Sign out

**Sign out** doesn't delete anything. Your data stays in your account; this device starts
fresh, and signing in again brings everything back.

## Delete your account

Go to **Account** → **Delete my account** and confirm with
**Yes, delete my account**. Everything on your account is deleted and this cannot be undone.
Data is removed from live systems right away and from backups within 30 days.

>
> Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it in your store's settings first.

## Guest data

If you use Qwox without an account, your data is deleted after 30 days without activity.
