Overview

The Qwox Timeline is your central hub for managing events, appointments, and deadlines. Unlike traditional calendars, Timeline intelligently organizes your schedule with AI-powered features like automatic event detection from images/files, conflict warnings, and smart categorization.

View Modes

The Timeline offers four filtering modes to help you focus on what matters:

Event Display

Events are grouped by date with:
  • Relative Date Labels: “Today”, “Tomorrow”, “In 3 days”
  • Event Count: Number of items per day
  • Color-Coded Icons: Visual indicators for event types
  • Category Badges: Quick identification of event categories
  • Attachment Previews: Thumbnails for linked images/files

Creating Events

Qwox offers 4 different ways to create events:

1. Via Chat Panel (Mobile & Web)

  1. Open the chat screen
  2. Tap the + button
  3. Select “Add Event”
  4. Fill in event details
  5. Save

2. Via Header (Web Only)

For users not in chat:
  1. Click the + button in the header
  2. Select “Add Event”
  3. Complete the event form
  4. Save

3. Via AI Natural Language

Simply tell Qwox about your event: 
"I have a doctor appointment tomorrow at 2pm"
"Schedule team meeting for Monday 10am"
"Remind me about Sarah's birthday on May 10th"
Qwox will automatically:
  • Detect the date and time
  • Suggest a category
  • Open the event creation modal for confirmation

4. Via OCR Detection (Automatic)

When you upload images or files (PDFs, screenshots), Qwox automatically:
  1. Scans for dates and times
  2. Detects event information (flights, concerts, appointments)
  3. Shows a suggestion popup
  4. Pre-fills event details if you accept

Conflict Detection

Qwox automatically checks for scheduling conflicts:
  • Time Overlaps: Warns if events overlap
  • Back-to-Back Events: Alerts for no break between meetings
  • Busy Days: Notifies when you have 3+ events in one day
  • Smart Suggestions: Proposes alternative times
Conflict detection runs in real-time as you type the event title and select the date.

Reminders

Set multiple reminders for each event:
  • At time of event
  • 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes before
  • 1, 2, 24 hours before
  • 1 day before
  • Custom time
Notification Channels:

Tags

Add custom tags for better organization:
  • Type tag name and press Enter
  • Multiple tags per event
  • Filter timeline by tags
  • Auto-suggestions from existing tags

Location

Add event location:
  • Free-form text input
  • Supports addresses, venue names, or descriptions
  • Displayed in event details

Add additional context:

Attendee management is coming soon. You can add attendee names in the Notes field for now.

Qwox analyzes your conversations and uploads to detect events:
  • Date Mentions: “I have a meeting on Tuesday”

  • Document Scanning: OCR from uploaded images/PDFs

AI suggests the most appropriate category based on:

AI Research & Multi-Step Planning

Qwox can perform complex, multi-step tasks by researching the web and combining information: Example 1: Business Meeting with Weather Context 
"I have a meeting in Istanbul tomorrow. Find out the weather forecast 
and tell me what I should wear. Then add the meeting to my calendar. 
Sales meeting: tomorrow at 2:00 PM in Avcılar, Istanbul. Include this 
information along with tomorrow's weather and clothing recommendations 
when adding this event to my calendar!"
What Qwox does:
  1. 🌐 Web Search: Searches for Istanbul weather forecast
  2. 🌤️ Analysis: Finds “Partly cloudy, around 14°C (57°F)”
  3. 👔 Recommendation: Suggests “layers, such as a light jacket or sweater”
  4. 📅 Event Creation: Creates event with all context in description:
    • Location: Avcılar, Istanbul
    • Weather: Partly cloudy, 14°C
    • Clothing: Light jacket or sweater recommended
Example 2: International Business Trip 
"I'm meeting a client in Paris next week. Research the best business 
districts, check the weather, and create an event with travel tips."
What Qwox does:

Best Practices

“Marketing Strategy Meeting with Sarah” is better than just “Meeting”
For important events, set reminders at 1 day before AND 30 minutes before
Include agenda, preparation items, or links in the Notes field
Stick to the same categories for similar events to build patterns
Always check conflict warnings before confirming events
Upload tickets, confirmations, or invitations for automatic event creation

Troubleshooting

  • Check if you’re in the correct view mode (Past/Today/Upcoming/All)
  • Pull-to-refresh to sync latest data
  • Verify the event date is within the view range
  • Ensure the image/PDF contains clear date/time text
  • Try uploading a higher quality image
  • Check that the document is in a supported language
  • Enable push notifications in device settings
  • Check that the event time hasn’t passed
  • Verify reminders were saved (edit event to check)
